Founded in 1991 in the heart of Gujarat, Shakti Agro Industries began with a simple promise: build agricultural equipment that holds up to real Indian conditions. We’re still building to that standard today.
The beginning
A workshop in
Surat
Shakti Agro Industries was founded in 1991 in Umbhel, Surat — a small workshop with a simple goal: make ploughs that don’t break. The Indian farmer was — and still is — the backbone of our country, and the equipment available to him in those years was either expensive imports or thin, locally-stamped shells that failed by the second monsoon.
We built differently. Heavier shafts. Honest steel. Government-tested at every stage. Today, three decades on, our hydraulic reversible ploughs are the benchmark for durability and reliability across the Indian subcontinent — earning the trust of farmers from Gujarat to Madhya Pradesh, from Punjab to Karnataka.
We’ve grown, but the workshop is still where it started. The same family runs it. The same standards apply.

Our journey
Three decades, milestone by milestone.
1991
Workshop founded
Started in Umbhel, Surat, with one product: a heavy-duty cultivator built for Gujarat's cotton belt.
2003
First reversible plough
Launched the Plough Ultima — our first hydraulic reversible plough, redesigning what Indian farms could expect.
2005
Govt. certification
Full product line passes testing at government-recognised institutes; SMAM subsidy registration follows.
2016
Pan-India network
Active dealers in 8 states. 12+ equipment models. Ten thousand farmers served and counting.

Co-Founder
Co-founded the company alongside his father and has helped grow Shakti from a single workshop into a full manufacturing plant.

Director
Directs day-to-day operations and the dealer network, keeping quality and service consistent across every district Shakti serves.
